Skinny Sparkling Cherry Margarita
Recently, my sister (Cosmetic Couturier on YouTube) who is one of the best bartenders I know came over to create a fun, festive cocktail with me, to share with my readers for New Years Eve! Since we live in Southern California, we wanted something a little south of the border, and refreshing. But of course, we still wanted to make it using all-natural ingredients, and low-carb for a more guilt-free New Years Eve “Cheers”! We present you our recipe for a sparkling skinny cherry margarita!

For our skinny sparkling cherry margarita, all you need is:
- Tequila (1.5 shots per person)
- Diet tonic water
- 1/2 shot of lime juice per person
- 1/4 cup of frozen or fresh black cherries. (I used frozen with the seeds already removed)
- Optional: Agave nectar, for additional sweetness, if you like your drinks a little less sour.
Instructions:
Step 1. Fill your tall glasses with ice.

Step 2. In a cocktail shaker, pour your shots of tequila, lime juice, and cherries. Before shaking, muddle your cherries slightly using a muddler, or wooden spoon handle.

Step 3. Shake your ingredients in your shaker.

Step 4. Pour your cocktail in your glasses, and top the remainder of the room with diet tonic water.Step 5. Add in some extra frozen cherries for more flavor, and garnish. Taste your drink, if it is too tart for your taste, add a little agave nectar or honey.

Cheers and enjoy!
