A Look at The Newly Remodeled Naples Downtown Disney
You may have noticed over this past year that there has been a lot of remodeling happening at Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort. One of the places at Downtown Disney that has undergone a major renovation is Naples Ristorante E Bar, redesigned by Shea Design. When you walk from the Disney Parks entrance towards Downtown Disney, you can’t miss the space! There is a beautiful outdoor patio and gorgeous bar. The outside is enough to want to draw you in!
But when you walk inside, there’s even more Italian-inspired beauty (and of course delicious food) awaiting you. If you walk inside, you see the pizza ovens working to create their AMAZING (truly, AMAZING) pizzas, as well as some of their wine selections. Head up the stairs lined with lemon mosaics, and you’ll be blown away by the upstairs!
There are beautiful light fixtures atop, making you feel like you’re in a fairytale. The space is made extra stunning with large windows, letting in so much light to enhance the interior beauty of the restaurant. Then my favorite spot, the upstairs outdoor patio with a beautiful fountain wall. I highly recommend eating in the upper balcony around sunset, where you can see a view of the Downtown Disney district topped with cotton candy skies! There truly isn’t a better way to end the day than with a good glass of wine or a Moscow Mule flight, listening to the fountain, while watching the sunset.
Now, About the Food!
So now that you’ve heard me gush about the ambiance, let’s get down to the FOOD! Going to any media event, I am always nervous there won’t be much in the way of vegetarian options. I was happy that the majority of options were vegetarian! There was a beautiful, fresh mixed greens salad, and lots of fresh cheese to nibble on. The appetizers were all very light and fresh, keeping me coming back for more!
And of course, the pizza. My husband and I have always thought Naples’ pizza is the absolute best pizza we’ve ever had. Their margherita pizza has the perfect combo of soft crust with crispy wood-fired edges, and delicious fresh mozzarella on top.
After enjoying pizza and wine, it was time for dessert! I tried the cheesecake, chocolate cake, and eclair, and all were equally delicious! They also weren’t overly sweet, making them the perfect sweet treat after a full meal. Their desserts are paired perfectly with a cup of their espresso.
After enjoying food and drinks, I stayed a while with my friends sipping wine on the outdoor patio. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food delicious but not overly rich. The beautiful design, the amazing views of the restaurant, and quality of food and service makes it a great place to enjoy food and memories with your loved ones.
Naples is open 11am-10pm daily. You can check out the menu, gallery, or book a private event by visiting their website here.
