In honor of Minnie Rocks the Dots and National Polka Dot Day, I recently made Minnie Mouse inspired cookies: raspberry white chocolate polka dot cookies! I wanted to incorporate those cookies into a Minnie-inspired party! Just a little party for two, that you can replicate, either for National Polka Dot Day, or as a little set up to surprise your little Minnie yoo hoo for Valentine’s Day! Stay tuned for the end of this post, where there is a special giveaway!
For the set-up, I have a vase of daisies, inspired by Minnie Mouse’s daisy hat that she wore in her first appearances on the big screen! These are beautiful, affordable, and are sure to put a smile on your Valentine’s face!
To drink, you can pour some mason jars of lemonade (or pink lemonade), and top with lemon slices to look like Mickey and Minnie ears! To make one of my lemonade glasses look more like Minnie Mouse, I added a daisy in between the lemon slices to look like her hat.
To decorate the table, I bought a red and white polka dotted tablecloth. Not only does this work well for Valentine’s Day, but also works for a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party, or National Polka Dot Day! I also placed my Mickey and Minnie tsum tsums on the table, for added cuteness.
And if you’re needing a perfect present, and centerpiece for your party, you can finish off your set-up with a print from AmourPrints. AmourPrints on Etsy prints pictures of Disney characters onto Disney sheet music, something I particularly love since I have a musical background! The print I used to decorate the table is a Minnie’s Yoo Hoo print from Walt Disney’s Mickey’s Follies. I absolutely love this classic song!
These prints make for a wonderful centerpiece, or affordable gift. AmourPrints has also generously partnered up with me to giveaway a print of the winner’s choice! You can enter the giveaway at the end of this post! Good luck!
