Mickey Waffles at Home! Have an Eggo Waffle Breakfast Birthday Party!
A very special birthday is coming up…Mickey Mouse’s! Ever since my daughter was a baby, she has absolutely loved Mickey Mouse, so of course we wanted to have a fun little at-home celebration for Mickey’s 90th! When doing a recent Walmart Online Grocery Pickup order, I noticed the Mickey 90th Kellogg’s Eggo Mickey Homestyle waffles and thought it would be the perfect thing to add to my cart to create a fun yet simple Mickey Mouse birthday breakfast party!
I added the Kellogg’s Eggo Mickey Homestyle, 16 ct Waffles a few other items to my online cart for our breakfast party, including strawberries, bananas, peanut butter, and some party hats and streamers! That evening, I pulled into the Walmart Online Grocery Pickup parking spot to get my order (This makes grocery shopping so easy when you have a toddler in tow!)
Then the next morning it was time for the big day: our Mickey Mouse breakfast birthday party!
Mickey Mouse Birthday Waffles + Dip
Ingredients (per person):
- 2 Eggo Mickey Homestyle waffles
- 3 cut strawberries
- 1/2 sliced banana
- 2 Tbsp natural creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- Dash of honey
Directions:
- Mix together honey, cocoa powder, and peanut butter for a subtly sweet chocolate dip
- Serve on the side with cut fruit and Eggo Mickey Homestyle waffles
Enjoy with a cup of lowfat milk, and put out some simple decorations of streamers, Mickey-colored plates, cups, napkins, and party hats for a simple yet fun way to celebrate Mickey Mouse’s birthday!
My daughter was so thrilled to wake up to our Mickey Mouse breakfast birthday party set-up, it was a truly magical way to begin her week!
