A New to Add Magic to Bedtime: Disney Store’s Sleep Shop Hotline!
Disclosure: I received these items complimentary but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
As my reader’s know, I am the mother to an adorable 3-year-old. She is adorable, smart, funny, and full of energy. Which also means….bedtime is a struggle for her. She naturally isn’t a deep sleeper so has a hard time falling asleep. We thought having a more organized (and more fun) night time routine would make things easier for my daughter Amelia to enjoy bedtime. Recently, Disney launched a new Disney Store Sleep Shop Hotline – and let me tell you, it’s been a lifesaver! It has felt like going to sleep at the Disneyland Hotel each night…but right in our daughter’s own bedroom!
The most important component for an organized bedtime where Disney Store came into play is the Disney Princess Nighttime Routine Rewards Chart (It also comes in a Toy Story version, too). It has the chart with pre-made options for bedtime routine steps, as well as blank squares where you can write in options for your own nighttime routine. It comes with sticker clings, so that once the chart is filled up you can re-use the clings for next week’s nighttime routine rewards. For our routine, we have cleaning up toys, bath time, pajamas, brushing our teeth, reading a book, and then a pillow which stands for our goodnight call to a Disney character.
To coincide with the Disney Store Sleep Shop items, they made the Disney Store Sleep Shop Hotline, where you dial 1-877-7-MICKEY and can have a goodnight call with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, or Goofy. (Note, the hotline is available in US and Canada until August 31st only) This adds so much magic at bedtime, and makes Amelia excited even to head to bed! I love that there are different characters you can call, so that you can change it up a bit each night.
To make her nighttime extra cozy, Amelia enjoys a few other items from Disney Store’s Sleep Shop, like the Angel Cuddleez Plush – it’s a super large, soft and squishy Angel plushie, that my daughter likes to hug for comfort at night time, as well as sometimes use as a pillow (she also likes Angel to join us for her bedtime story)!
For her nighttime cup, we have been using the Disney Princess Light-Up Tumbler with Straw – having the lid of the cup light up makes it easy for Amelia to spot her nighttime cup of water on her bedside table if she is thirsty throughout the night!
Last but certainly not least, a cozy big blanket for bedtime is a must for a good night’s rest and to more easily fall asleep at night! My daughter loves both princesses and superheroes…all the better if they’re put together! While she enjoys her Disney Princess cup and nighttime rewards chart, she wanted a blanket of her favorite Marvel super hero…Spider-Man!
This blanket can be folded into it’s holder and be a pillow for on-the-go, or taken out can be a super soft fleece blanket! She absolutely loves her Spider-Man Fleece Throw! Putting all these elements together have made bedtime a fun occasion, making both mom, dad, and Amelia very happy sleepers!
