A Memorable Stay at The Coeur d’Alene Resort
This stay was hosted, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
On Labor Day Weekend, I was able to have an amazing walk down memory lane with a stay at The Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho (In Northern Idaho, near Spokane, WA). The Resort is right on Lake Coeur d’Alene, with thousands of pine trees surrounding it’s view, making for a lush, relaxing setting. Six years ago, my husband proposed to me while on a hike at Tubb’s Hill (which is just outside the Resort), and then the year after that had our wedding at The Coeur d’Alene Resort. I hadn’t been there since, so it was wonderful to be able to spend Labor Day and reminisce about those wonderful memories!
Our stay started with a Luau on the Lake! The Coeur d’Alene Resort had a luau themed Labor Day celebration, with Polynesian dancers, hula lessons, drinks, and a Hawaiian BBQ themed buffet (with plenty of vegetarian options), all overlooking the lake.

I loved the combination of Hawaiian/tropical theme while overlooking the Pacific Northwest scenery, it was a beautiful contrast!

We checked into our room, that was complete with a fireplace and overlooking the lake. One of my favorite parts about our room is that both of the beds overlook the lake – what a beautiful site to wake up to! That evening, we ate at one of the Resort’s restaurants, Dockside. We arrived at the perfect time, where we were able to eat at sunset overlooking the boats along Lake Coeur d’Alene. We had incredible food, drinks, (I particularly loved a skinny cocktail called The Field Green), and we had to have a personal-sized Gooey (a dessert the Resort is famous for).

The next day, we rested and relaxed in our lake view room, and enjoyed walking along Sherman Ave, where the Resort is located, and experienced Coeur d’Alene’s downtown charm and small shops. Before we headed home the next morning, we had appetizers and drinks at Whispers, one of Coeur d’Alene Resort’s lounges that overlooks the lake, and is as chic as could be!

Having days seeing the lake and nature, and nights with incredible dining and fireplaces along the dock, made for the perfect luxurious weekend! You can learn more about The Coeur d’Alene Resort by clicking here.
