Tropical Pool Party Aesthetic Inspiration and Ideas
This past weekend, there was a lot to celebrate! Saturday was mine and my husband’s 11th year being together, and then Sunday was of course Father’s Day! To celebrate, my family and I took a trip to Palm Springs, CA. And of course if you’re going to Palm Springs, you’ll be spending hours and hours in the pool. To make the pool party extra fun and full of summer vibes, we had a tropical pool party aesthetic with floats from SwimOutlet.com and mommy + me matching swimsuits from Unique Vintage.
Confession: Prior to this trip, I had never owned an adorable pool float before! On SwimOutlet.com, I found countless adorable floats, and since they were so affordable grabbed a bunch for our trip:
To go with the tropical pool party aesthetic, we paired with our floats our matching Unique Vintage watermelon swimsuits, the adult and the kid version.
The floats: A Big Mouth pineapple float, a Big Mouth watermelon beach ball, and Big Mouth inflatable drink holders for the pool. The pineapple float was incredibly comfy – floating around in it in the pool was just what I needed to go in relaxation mode! I was a little hesitant as to whether the floating drink holders would work well, but they never tipped over!
My daughter also loved going for a ride in the pineapple, sitting on dad’s lap (she also thought the watermelon drink holder looked like a fun hat 🙂
