Taking a Road Trip Along PCH in the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

A couple of weeks ago, you may have seen that my family and I took a road trip up to Cambria, CA and Hearst Castle. We went on the road trip since the drive up there is along Pacific Coast Highway, an absolutely breathtaking drive! Also, we wanted to see Disneynature Oceans that was playing for the Coastal Stewardship Film Festival in Central California. For the perfect road trip car, I thought it made only sense to drive a hybrid, since we were going to a film festival centered around protecting the environment! We drove the sleek and roomy 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.
The car had plenty of room for myself, my husband, my toddler and her car seat, along with our luggage, snacks, and toys for the little one (with plenty of room to spare). It felt so smooth when driving, and of course one of the best parts of taking the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid on a road trip: it’s fuel efficiency! I had never driven a hybrid before, and was pleasantly surprised with how long we were able to drive without re-fueling. We did the whole road trip from southern to central California without needing more gas! The combination of a hybrid being more environmentally friendly, plus saving me money was definitely a win!
I think the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is one of the best cars I’ve ever driven, and I hope to have the pleasure of driving it again on a future road trip. You can learn more about the car by visiting their site here.
