Magic Golden Flower Vegan Lemon Yogurt Dip - Tangled Recipe . Tangled The Series inspired recipe - Vegan yogurt dip - Tangled Recipe - Disney Recipe - Tangled the Series

Tangled is one of my all-time favorite Disney animated movies! I never imagined a whole Tangled series would be made, but boy am I glad that Tangled: The Series is coming March 24th! It reminds me of my childhood days when many popular Disney animated films got a TV show…Timon and Pumba, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch… it’s so neat that now that I have a child the same thing is happening!

With Tangled: The Series coming to the Disney Channel, I made a delicious (yet healthy and nutritious) treat to enjoy while watching the premiere! I present to you: Magic Golden Flower Vegan Yogurt Dip! Inspired by Rapunzel’s braided flower look:

 

Ingredients

Serves 4 people

  • 1 can of coconut cream that’s been refrigerated for 4 or more hours.
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 banana
  • Edible flowers
  • Your choice of fruit and cookies to dip (I used apples, blackberries, and Ellie’s cookies that look like suns!)

 

Instructions

  1. Put your coconut cream (without the water from the can) into a blender or food processor and blend until creamy.
  2. Remove cream and put in a bowl. Cut up a lemon into slices and using a knife (carefully) cut the lemon from the rind.
  3. Puree the lemon and a banana.
  4. Then put lemon and banana mixture in the same bowl as the coconut cream and mix well.
  5. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  6. Using a grater or zester, add lemon zest to the top of your dip for added flavor and extra golden color! Top with edible flowers (I find these at Sprouts or Whole Foods).
