I previously made an all-natural copycat version of Trader Sam’s Shipwreck on the Rocks, and now am back with another “skinny” cocktail! This time, I’m tweaking one of my favorite cocktails: The Moscow Mule. This is a different, lighter, yet flavorful take on this timeless beverage.
Makes one cocktail
- One and a half shots of vodka
- 1/2 a shot of ginger syrup (I used The Ginger People ginger syrup)
- Lime juice or fresh limes
- Diet tonic water
- Optional: The Ginger People Candied ginger
Step 1. Muddle some lime slices at the bottom of a glass or Moscow Mule copper mug.
Step 2. Pour your vodka and ginger syrup, and a couple squeezes of lime juice. Stir.
Step 3. Top the rest of your glass off with Diet Tonic Water, and candied ginger and lime if you like.
I love using diet tonic water and The Ginger People’s ginger syrup rather than ginger beer, as a more low-carb version of a Moscow Mule! Enjoy!
