Disney Vacation shopDisney Style Diary

Last week, you may have followed along that my family and I went to Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise as part of the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. Throughout our trip, my daughter Amelia who is a little fashionista showed off her Disney style with toddler shopDisney clothes!

Day 1 – EPCOT

My family and I headed to EPCOT so we could experience their newest ride, Frozen Ever After. Frozen is one of Amelia’s favorite rides, so she wore a shopDisney Elsa dress in a 3T to play the part. She loved walking around the Norway Pavilion in World Showcase, and meeting Anna and Elsa in addition to riding the ride! Elsa was a big fan of her dress as well.

Day 2 – Magic Kingdom

After seeing YouTube videos featuring the massive Cinderella Castle, Amelia couldn’t wait to see Magic Kingdom in real life! To sum up her excitement for visitng Magic Kingdom for the first time, she wore a Tangled t-shirt that said “Best Day Ever!”, along with a Tangled bomber jacket, both from shopDisney. She also brought her Disney Princess sunglasses, that are pink heart-shaped with a Cinderella and Aurora on the lenses.

Day 3 – Hollywood Studios

At the beginning of the day, we met Buzz and Woody, and went on Toy Story Midway Mania. To celebrate the upcoming opening of Toy Story Land and all the other Toy Story fun, my daughter wore a Toy Story t-shirt, that even included the green aliens and Rex (she loves them). Later on in the day, we went to Star Wars Launch Bay and met BB-8! My daughter had never been able to meet BB-8 before, so she was excited to meet him dressed as the part of his BFF, wearing a shopDisney Rey costume.

To go to bed that evening, she wanted to commemorate the day by wearing pink and purple BB-8 PJ’s back at our hotel. She spent the night in her PJ’s watching cartoons at Coronado Springs Resort and using our phone to pretend to talk to BB-8 himself.

Day 4 – Magic Kingdom

My daughter loved Magic Kingdom so much she wanted to go a second time before we set sail on our Disney Cruise! Since we were headed back to the park with the “giant castle” (her words) she wore an outfit set with Disney Princesses on the shirt, that says the inspiring phrase “Dare to Dream“. The pants are pink with a gold sparkly stripe down the side seems.

Day 5 – Setting Sail with Disney Cruise

To celebrate Amelia’s first Disney Cruise, she dressed up in an Ariel ShopDisney dress. Getting to attend the Sail Away Deck Party in this Ariel dress made for twirling truly made her feel like a Disney princess! At night, she wore an Ariel nightgown that says “Sea You in the Morning!” It was quite fun having Disney Cruise family slumber parties!

Day 6 – Beauty and the Beast

During the second day of our Disney Cruise, we were going to see the Broadway calibur production of Beauty and the Beast that is currently playing on the Disney Dream. To head to dinner at Royal Palace and see the show front row, Amelia dressed as Belle. When Belle came on-stage during “Tale as Old as Time”, she was so excited to be wearing a yellow ballgown just like her! She brought along her Belle wand with her as well.

Day 7 – Castaway Cay and Disney’s Believe

To head to Disney’s private Bahamian island Castaway Cay, we prepared to spend a full day playing in the water and sand! Amelia had the time of her life playing in the serene, crystal waters on Castaway Cay in her polka dot Minnie Mouse swimsuit.  Along with her swimsuit, she wore a terrycloth Minnie Mouse cover-up, and Minnie Mouse sunglasses complete with a bow.

Later that day after we sailed away from Castaway Cay, we saw the Disney Dream production called Disney’s Believe, which is all about believing in magic! Since Tinker Bell kicks off the show, my daughter headed to production in a Tinker Bell shirt, jumper, and tights set from the shopDisney Animator’s Collection.

Day 8 – Heading Home

To say goodbye to our Disney Vacation, we went to the Bon Voyage breakfast at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. At the Bon Voyage breakfast, you have Tangled-themed pastries, and get to meet Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel, and Eric. To say hello to some of her favorite Disney characters, Amelia wore a Rapunzel costume.

After the Bon Voyage breakfast, she got comfy in a Minnie Mouse Spririt Jersey to easily nap on the plane.

It was a fantastic Disney vacation, full of fun, laughter, family time, and toddler shopDisney style!
