Osmo’s New Frozen 2 Interactive Game Teaches You How to Draw Frozen Characters!
If your a parent and you’re not familiar with Osmo, let me just tell you that it’s absolutely amazing! Osmo is a special base that you can get to attach to your iPad or Amazon Fire Tablet that’s a steal at $39. Now before you think “oh this is just another tablet game or app,” let me tell you it’s unlike anything else.
You select the package you want, which is a special Osmo marker and pad with different prompts. The one my daughter just got that just came out is the Super Studio Disney Frozen 2. With this game, she puts the notepad up to the Osmo base that her Amazon Fire Tablet is sitting on, and her tablet gives her different drawing prompts. It really reminds me a lot of going to the Animation Academy at Disney California Adventure if you’re familiar with that!
She then draws her creation in the blank white spaces on the notepad, and it shows up within a scene from Frozen or Frozen 2 on the tablet, and you get to see a Frozen character interact with your drawing! You can then change the color and paint your drawing on the tablet! I love that there is a tangible element to this interactive game, versus solely on the tablet. My daughter typically likes to draw and color for hours, and with the Osmo Frozen 2 game giving different prompts and challenges, there’s a learning element to it as well as creative! And the best part? The markers wipe off with a special “Super Sweeper” that comes with each game so you can reuse your Super Studio over and over again! There are other Disney games Osmo currently offers, including Super Studio Incredibles 2, Disney Princess, and Mickey Mouse & Friends. There are also plenty of other types of learning games such as ones that teaching coding skills, music skills, and STEM skills.
