Creating a Gourmet Breakfast With Milk and Eggs Grocery Delivery
Disclosure: This post has been sponsored by Milk and Eggs, but all thought and opinions are my own.
After using Milk and Eggs grocery delivery for 3 months now, I am still in love with this Southern California-based grocery delivery service! Last month, I experimented with trying out their affordable meal kits, where they delivery recipes and ingredients to make your own locally sourced, gourmet meals. All of Milk and Eggs’ food items are from local farms and stores, so with my most recent order I wanted to try out some of their items to create delicious gourmet breakfasts at home. I ordered the LA Bakery Cinnamon swirl bread, perfect to eat plain or make into french toast! To pair along with it, I got Spread the Love organic unsalted almond butter, and organic bananas. I made a simple french toast mixture for 3 servings by:
- Whisking together 1 large organic egg, 2 tsp of vanilla, and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
- Brushing both sides of my LA Bakery Cinnamon swirl bread with the cinnamon mixture.
- I spread organic coconut oil from Milk and Eggs on the pan to heat, then cooked the slices of bread on both sides till slightly crispy.
- Then, I topped with melted Spread the Love almond butter and bananas!
I can’t wait to experiment more with this amazing cinnamon swirl bread, along with my other organic fruits and locally sourced goodies from Milk and Eggs grocery delivery service. Probably one of my favorite things about Milk and Eggs (besides the convenience) is being able to try new grocery items by browsing on their site. Since I know everything is organic and locally sourced it’s easy to feel good about everything I put in my online shopping cart, giving me the freedom to add in things I most likely wouldn’t have tried before!
