Recently, I had the pleasure of getting to have a week of driving a 2017 Mazda CX-5! I had so many adventures during that week, and loved getting to have this fabulous FWD Mazda take me there – it was honestly the best time I had ever had behind the wheel.
Before my adventures started that week, I was able to explore all of the cars’ fun gadgets. I particularly loved the features it had to help driving be safer and simpler. When you turn on your turn signal, if there is a car on the side where you’re trying to change lanes there will be a warning noise and symbol, as well as a rear view camera for safely backing out. Something else that I loved was how comfortable and luxurious the seats felt. Not only are they comfortable, but there is also a seat warmer and steering wheel warmer! The size felt perfect for a family of three – it wasn’t squished at all, but it was small enough that I could park and parallel park with ease.
To start off the week, I drove from Orange County to Los Angeles to film some recipe videos. I normally dread the morning commute to LA, but getting to enjoy the Satellite radio in the comfortable seats made this driving a breeze. Plus the safety features made navigating the bumper to bumper traffic feel more relaxing than stressful.
The next day, I started off my morning in a more relaxing way by heading to my local farmers market to stock up on food for the week. I go to the farmer’s market weekly to stock up on groceries for my family, as well as stock up on ingredients for new recipe blog posts. The 2017 Mazda CX-5 was a food bloggers dream! The trunk was so spacious, I was able to fit more groceries in there than any other car I had driven. Perfect too for parents packing strollers, or for a road trip!
My husband and I ended our week with a very special trip – a drive to the Disneyland Resort area! I decided to give my husband a surprise date night by driving us to Anaheim in the Mazda CX-5, and letting him know we were spending the night at an Anaheim hotel so we can spend all night and morning at Disneyland during Halloween time! It was the perfect luxurious drive to kick off our date weekend, and made our weekend extra special.
Our final trip is one I will never forget – a trip to Club 33! If your’e unfamiliar with Club 33, it’s a five-star restaurant overlooking New Orleans Square at Disneyland, and is only open to members and members’ guests. It was definitely a rare occasion where I had the opportunity to be connected with a Club 33 member, and as a Disneyland fan was a moment I will never forget. It was fantastic getting to drive to Club 33 in my 2017 Mazda CX-5 during the last night of trying it out! To learn more about Mazda, you can check out their site here.
