Every year, there is a fun-filled family event with a wonderful cause: CHOC Walk at the Park (Disneyland Park, that is)! CHOC stands for Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and the CHOC Walk allows families to gather together in a walk to raise money for the health of Southern Californian children.
As if the cause wasn’t amazing enough, the walk is a wonderful experience, too. You and your family get to walk through Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney before the park even opens! The walk route will have Disney character meet and greets, along with other live entertainment.
Whether you know somebody or not who has been directly helped from CHOC, it’s a fantastic experience for any Disney-loving family:
1. By participating in CHOC Walk at the Park, you and your family are continuing Walt Disney’s passion for supporting the health and wellness of children.
2. By helping raise money for CHOC, you’re helping teach your family the importance of helping others.
3. You get to walk through the park before it opens, and see the sunrise above Disneyland! This is a rare opportunity you don’t want to miss!
4. By participating in CHOC Walk, you can receive discounts at Downtown Disney the day of the walk, as well as reduced admission prices at both parks ($83 for Park Hopper, $55 for 1-day ticket). Note: To receive discounted ticket prices, you will need to show your CHOC Walk wristband at the ticket booth. You can purchase a maximum of five tickets per wristband; you can use your tickets by November 30th (blocked out Nov 19-23rd).
This year’s CHOC Walk is on October 30th, 2016. To register, visit chocwalk.org
